The TL67 is a tough light designed to withstand harsh environments.

Solid Particle Protection

The first digit of an IP rating indicates the level of protection against solid particles. For example, an IP65 rating ensures dust-tight protection, preventing any ingress of dust that could compromise the light's performance.

Water Resistance

The second digit in the IP rating denotes the level of water resistance. Exterior lights with higher ratings, such as IP65 or IP66, provide reliable protection against heavy rain and water jets. If the lights are intended for areas where direct water exposure is expected, such as near swimming pools or fountains, opt for lights with IP67 or higher ratings, ensuring they can withstand temporary immersion.

Corrosion Resistance

When selecting exterior lights, particularly for coastal regions or areas prone to high humidity, consider the material's corrosion resistance. Look for lights constructed from durable materials like stainless steel or corrosion-resistant finishes to ensure longevity and performance in harsh environments.

Impact Resistance

While not directly indicated by IP ratings, it is essential to consider the impact resistance of exterior lights, especially in areas prone to vandalism or accidental damage. Look for lights designed with robust materials and impact-resistant features to maintain their functionality and appearance over time.

WATERPROOF

  • Can withstand rigorous cleaning, including pressure washing. The tough, sealed housing prevents water ingress, ensuring reliable performance even when exposed to high-pressure jets of water. This makes them ideal for environments where frequent and thorough cleaning is essential.

  • IP67 rated, waterproof and water resistant. This level of protection means the lights are secure even when immersed in water up to 1m for 30 minutes.

  • Tough shatterproof housing.

  • The durable construction ensures that, even in the event of an impact, the housing will not shatter or release fragments, making the lights safe for use in food preparation and processing areas.

  • IK9 impact rating, these lights are highly resistant to mechanical impact on a scale that ranges from IK00 (no protection) to IK10 (the highest level of protection)

SHATTERPROOF

  • Hermetically sealed, airtight and watertight, nothing can leak in or out. 

  • Operational in temperatures up to 50 °C and in wet, damp and moist environments, where humidity is constantly present.

  • The watertight construction allows these lights to be thoroughly cleaned with cleaning agents, chemicals, and high-pressure washers, making them ideal for environments where disease prevention and food safety are critical.

  • Polycarbonate tube housing with stainless steel fixings prevent corrosion and rust.

HUMIDITY

  • With a Level 6 solid-ingress protection rating the highest possible, these lights are completely dust-tight and the lights electrical components are fully protected. 

  • With multiple installation options, these lights can be placed wherever you need them, no matter how dusty or dirty. The tube housing is slimmer than standard batten lights and can be mounted vertically, horizontally, or at any angle. Whether mounted to ceilings or walls, or suspended with cable, rope, or hanging clips, these lights adapt easily to suit your space and requirements.
